I’m an award-winning and Emmy-nominated television producer, director, and editor, as well as a novelist and a documentary filmmaker. Most of all, I love helping people tell their stories.

I grew up in San Francisco, graduated from Lick-Wilmerding High School, and attended UC Berkeley, where I earned Bachelor’s degrees in English and Cellular Biology. I worked at PBS-KQED, then attended UCLA Film School, where I earned a Master’s in Film and Television Production. My credits include: The Real World, Road Rules, Bug Juice, Making the Band, The Osbournes, Dr. 90210, Project Runway, The Voice, and Married at First Sight.

I live in Studio City, California, with my wife and business partner, Robin Berlin. Our daughter, Lily, is a dancer and choreographer.
